Becoming Otherwise: Black Trans Feminist Imagination as Spiritual & Political Practice
This teach-in explores Black trans feminist imagination as a vital spiritual and political practice for survival, resistance, and becoming under conditions of anti-Blackness and authoritarianism. Drawing from Black feminist thought, spiritual traditions, and lived movement wisdom, the session centers imagination as a survival technology—one that allows Black trans and gender-expansive people to make meaning, build futures, and practice freedom in the present. Participants will be invited to reflect on imagination as praxis, grounding theory in embodied, ancestral, and communal ways of knowing. Register here.
